King Salmon fishing has been virtually non-existent this week here on the Central Coast. Capt Mark and the Bonnie Marietta had a few fish early in the week but conditions and limited production made for a short week.  If you combine the slow fishing with a seasonal closure starting July 1st and running through July 14th, the outlook for local King Salmon looks very slim for the next couple of weeks. Because of this we have brought in a few King Salmon from northern California to satisfy the demand this weekend. Supplies are limited however, we do have enough to offer fillets this weekend for $22.95 per pound or whole fish for $11.95 per pound while supplies last.

Other fishing this week has been up and down. We have had decent landings of various Rockfish species from Capt. Patchen of the Kaps, as well as Lingcod from Capt. Eaton on his Kayak and and Capt. McGill of the 4Baja.  An unexpected addition this week was landings of a few Soupfin Sharks from Capt. Bradbury of the Ashley Nichole. Windy conditions this week thwarted the efforts of many other local captains however the weather forecast for next week looks slightly better and we hope to replenish our supplies of more local favorites soon.
